Google has developed the first table tennis robot agent that reaches human competitive level, trained by collecting a vast amount of data and simulating real match environments. The robot competes against human opponents of varying skill levels in both simulated and real-world scenarios, showcasing skills at an intermediate human level. Although it lost all matches against advanced and expert players, it achieved a perfect record against beginners, highlighting its potential in rally competitions.
